Chewie took to the crunchy surface with delight and excitement. She was digging, clawing and enjoyed the new sound and texture. Cooper investigated and could not determine what the strange surface was and didn't see why Chewie was so eager. He decided that snow couldn't be chewed and it didn't move so he wasn't interested. Chewie loved being the boss of it.
